Calico Gymnastics Club Inc. Fees and Club Policies
Gymnastics Saskatchewan (GymSask) Membership
All Recreational Classes require a membership with Gymnastics Saskatchewan. GymSask provides coach education opportunities, club assistance including materials, insurance and advice. GymSask also monitors and governs the sport of gymnastics in Saskatchewan. The annual GymSask membership must be renewed each September. Presently that fee is $48 which includes insurance and membership with Gymnastics Canada.
NSF Charge
There will be a $30 charge for all NSF cheques.
Policies

Classes are subject to change based on availability and size requirements. Must have 3 participants for class to run
Make up classes are only available in the event that Calico Gymnastics has had to cancel a regularly scheduled class.
There will be no makeup classes or refunds for cancellations that are due to circumstances not in the club’s control.
Calico has the right to re-schedule up to and including 3 classes per session.
A 4% service fee will be charged on all registrations.
Full refunds, less the 4% administration fee, will be available for withdrawal within one week prior to the session start date. Any withdrawal during the week prior to session start date will receive a 75% refund of the class cost plus full refund of GymSask fee. Any withdrawal within the first two weeks of classes will receive a 50% refund of the cost of the class. GymSask fees will NOT be refunded after the session start date. There are no refunds available for withdrawals made after 2 weeks from the session start date.
Refunds for class cancellations will be less the 4% administration fee
Fundraising Opt Out Fees will not be refunded for any withdrawals once classes have started.
Multiple class registrations that result in a refund will be subject to a $50 administrative fee.
For insurance purposes, each gymnast must complete a registration form and payment must be made in full PRIOR to the first class, in order for the gymnast to participate
Payment by credit card is required at the time of registration. If you need to request alternate payment arrangements, please contact the office and we will be happy to work something out with you.
If payment has not been received on the second week of classes. Calico has the right to remove the participant from the scheduled class
Post-dated cheques must be dated for the first of the month, where special arrangements have been made.
Calico will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Special Notes

Please bring a water bottle clearly marked with your athlete's name to each class.
Athletes MUST wear a leotard or a T shirt and shorts to class. Long hair MUST be tied back. NO two piece suits, socks, jeans or loose fitting clothing.
Only registered participants are permitted on the gym floor. Siblings and parents are NOT to be on the floor while class is running.
One parent must be provided for each child registered for parent and tot classes.
Parents of all preschool athletes are asked to remain in the gym for the duration of the class.
No flash photography is permitted in the gym.
As a Non-Profit organization we rely on fundraisers to fund our building and equipment upgrades to keep your child safe! Please participate enthusiastically.
Please note that a Gym Sask Fee will be added to each Recreation athletes fees. This fee varies from class to class and is good for the entire 2024-2025 Season.

Fundraising 2024-2025 Season

Even though we are in our new building, we still have 20 years of mortgage payments ahead of us and fundraisers play a big role in our building, equipment needs, and day to day operations, so we can't stop completely.

Calico has made the decision to try something new this year regarding fundraising.

This is what we ask of you:
Recreational Families: $150.00 (profit - not sales) for the entire 2025-2026 season per family.

Competitive families: $250.00 (profit - not sales) for the entire 2025-2026 season per family.

This can be achieved in three ways:

1. Fundraising

Calico provides many fundraising options throughout the season. Any participation in these fundraisers will count towards your fundraising requirement.

During the first week of classes you will be asked to swap a $150.00 (Recreational) or $250.00 (Competitive) post-dated cheque (June 1, 2026) for fundraising breakdown and details for the season. Participation in fundraisers will be tracked by the Calico Administrator. Each fundraiser will count towards your fundraising in varying amounts depending on the payout of each fundraiser.

You have until June 1, 2026 to meet your fundraising requirement.

If you have reached your fundraising requirement by June 1, 2026 your provided post-dated cheque will be voided.

If you haven’t reached your fundraising requirement by June 1, 2026 Calico will cash your provided post-dated cheque. For any fundraising amount over $10.00 a credit for the amount you fundraised will be put on your account to be used towards your next session.

If you exceed your fundraising requirement by June 1, 2026 your provided post-dated cheque will be voided, and 25% of any excess fundraising amount will be returned to you in the form of a credit provided the 25% amount is over $10.00. This credit will be put on your account to be used towards your next season.

You have the entire 2025-2026 season to participate in fundraising, even if your child is only in one session.

2. Cash donations of any amount can be put towards your fundraising requirement. Examples are: bottle money, garage sale earnings, lemonade stand, etc.

3. Opt-out of fundraising and choose to pay your fundraising requirement in full at the time of registration.
