Description:
At CCSA, our instructors provide the necessary tools for students to develop their own animated work. Our classes teach the fundamentals and principles of animation, technical development, and media storytelling. Our classes teach the history of animation and how the craft developed into today’s industry. Digital Illustration students will learn to work with various programs like Krita, ProCreate, and iMovie.
Students will be provided critical feedback weekly from their instructors on their creations to further develop their digital art skills.
As the intermediate class, students delve into more complex character design, character rotation, storyboarding, and video production. At CCSA, we provide guidance and creative liberty for students who have an interest in pursuing a professional animation career.
For our Digital Arts classes, we recommend that the students bring a tablet (iPad or other brand) and a bluetooth connectable digital pen (like an apple pencil or similar product) if they already own one. Students that do not own a tablet will be able to use our desktop computers. When filling out the registration form for this class, you will be given the opportunity to select a specialization (Digital Art, Digital Animation, 2D Animation).
