Join us for our full-day Visual Arts Intensive: Fantasy Art Exploration—a creative adventure for teens ages 12+ who are ready to bring their fantasy worlds to life through various art mediums! Modeled after our popular Creative Camp, this intensive camp lets teens explore the realms of fantasy art, combining painting, drawing, cartooning, and sculpting. Under the guidance of expert instructors, campers will receive individualized feedback and learn to develop their artistic skills, explore new techniques, and experiment with fantastical themes and imagery.

From 9 am to 12 pm each day, campers will dive into a variety of artistic techniques, creating their own fantasy-inspired artwork. They will experiment with different mediums such as paint, charcoal, and clay, bringing to life their imagined worlds of magical creatures, enchanted landscapes, and heroic characters. Students will also explore different art styles, incorporating fantasy themes into their work while experimenting with different artistic movements and techniques.

In the 1 pm to 4 pm afternoon sessions, students will focus on core drawing techniques, honing their skills in sketching, figure drawing, portraiture, still life studies, and perspective—all with a focus on creating fantasy characters, creatures, and environments. These foundational drawing skills will give campers the tools to develop their unique fantasy art style, whether they’re drawing mythical beings or magical landscapes.

By the end of the program, students will have a diverse portfolio of fantasy-inspired artwork and newfound confidence in their artistic abilities. Our emphasis on professionalism, excellence, and creative community makes this program the ideal choice for teens looking to deepen their skills, explore their creative potential, and connect with like-minded artists who share a passion for fantasy art.
