This summer course will provide your child with the opportunity to gradually start preparing their portfolio. We believe that young artists should start early and recognize their talent. Whether they are starting from scratch or revising a current portfolio, this course will help prepare your child for their upcoming applications!

The purpose of this class is to teach the fundamental skills of art portfolio preparation, such as drawing and painting techniques during summer (2 sessions a week during July and August). The two month preparatory course will help them develop their creative expression. Students in this course will receive one-on-one guidance in order to build a portfolio specific to their schools/programs of choice. The instructor will also walk students through the process of applying for schools, and help them decipher admission and portfolio requirements.

This course is primarily geared towards high school students preparing for post secondary applications, but is also available for middle school students preparing for specialty arts high school applications.
