Whether you’re a novice looking to grasp the basics or an intermediate photographer seeking to refine your skills, this course offers a comprehensive journey into the realm of visual storytelling. Throughout the program, you’ll delve into essential concepts such as composition, lighting, and camera settings, equipping you with the technical prowess to bring your creative vision to life. Guided by award-winning photographer Mark Krancer, you’ll embark on hands-on exercises learning about your camera’s functions. In addition to technical skills, Mark will answer questions about your particular camera, empowering you to enhance and perfect your images while understanding ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. Recommended gear: While you can learn elements of photography with a smartphone or “point and shoot” camera, you will gain the most from this class with either a mirrorless or DSLR camera. For the purpose of this class, different aspects of film photography are not covered.
