Description:

Add an extra punch to your art! Aspiring artists will review works of famous manga artists from many popular manga (Japanese comics) and practice the techniques that make the art so engaging. Students will create their own manga-inspired action comics with vehicles, accessories, and characters. Learn how artists work through creating an exciting and complete action sequence. 

A supply list of approximately $39 will be provided at the time of registration. Participants may either purchase art supplies on their own from the supply list or purchase an art supply kit at registration.

Notes: Art Class Kit: Anime & Mange Action Please purchase and bring to first class the following supplies: • 2 #2 pencils • 1 kneaded eraser • 1 white vinyl eraser • 1 sketch pad, at least 8 ½” x 11" • 1 pad of bristol board minimum 8” x 10” • 1 Sakura Pigma Micron Pen Size 03 or Size 05 • 1 Sakura Pigma Micron Pen Size 08 Materials can be purchased at any Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or at the Art Coop in Lincoln Square Mall.
