Description:
Capture your favorite aspect of nature through printmaking! Students will learn and practice relief printmaking techniques using nature as inspiration for unique designs.
Relief printing is the act of carving into material to create a design that you can then apply ink to and print onto paper (similar to creating a stamp!).
In this class, students will draw out their nature designs, transfer this onto soft-printing blocks, carve out their designs, and then practice printing their designs multiple times.
A supply list of approximately $40 will be provided at the time of registration. Participants may either purchase art supplies on their own from the supply list or purchase an art supply kit.
