Description:
Myth, magic, and mayhem collide in the CPD's 2025 theatre season with Hadestown: Teen Edition! This reimagined version of the Tony Award-winning musical invites teens to step into a world where love battles fate and courage is tested at every turn. Follow the timeless tale of Orpheus and Eurydice as they navigate the hauntingly beautiful Underworld, brought to life with an unforgettable jazz score performed by a live band and a dynamic cast of young performers. Open to aspiring actors of all experience levels, this production promises a transformative journey on and off the stage. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a story that’s as old as myth and as fresh as tomorrow!

Callbacks: Thursday, May 29th 6-8pm
Rehearsals: Sunday June 1st - Friday, July 11th (Monday - Thursdays 12:30-3:30pm. Additionally, Sunday June 1st; Friday, June 20th; and Friday, July 11th)
Tech Week and Performances: Sunday, July 13th time TBD; Monday, July 14th - Wednesday, July 16th 5-10pm
Performances: Thursday, July 17th - Saturday, July 19th at 7pm and 2pm on Saturday
Audition and Volunteer Information will be sent out on Friday, May 16th.
After Friday, May 16th the program will be nonrefundable. If before then a participant needs to drop there will be a $35 nonrefundable fee.
