Description:

Come grab some clay and learn handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques with our Spring Break Ceramics Studio, designed for middle and high school artists.

This workshop takes place 10am-1pm daily from Monday-Wednesday, March 23rd-25th. 

For beginners and returning students alike, lessons will cover handbuilding with opportunities to use a pottery wheel, focusing on using our hands to create with clay as well as learning the methods and techniques we can use for expression. Projects may be a blend of single-day projects and prolonged, multi-lesson projects that allow for the detailed creation of forms and surfaces.

Notes: All materials provided. We recommend bringing water bottles, snacks and wearing clothes/closed toe shoes ready for messy work!
