Description:

This 6 week class will introduce (or reacquaint) students to working with clay on the wheel. 

Through demonstrations and hands on learning, students will experience the process of making a ceramic piece from start to finish. Creation of cylinders, bowls and plates as well as glazing techniques will be covered. (Pottery Wheel ONLY course)

Brand new to the world of wheelthrowing or need a brushup? Also offering a Monday night option! Join our Wednesday, Friday night or Saturday daytime course if you prefer a general overview of all Beginning Ceramics.

Required age: 16+ on the day of the activity

Notes: Ages 14-16 are welcome to register for the class series, contact our Studio Manager with any questions.

Prerequisites: There is a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 8. Clay & toolkits are available for purchase at the CCC. You are welcome to wait until the first class to purchase.
