Brand new to the world of ceramics or need a brushup? 

We are excited to continue offering our full Beginning Ceramics course for Adults! Wednesday Evening and  Friday Evening are a general survey. Monday and Thursday options focused only on Wheelthrowing. 

Taught by Anneliese Kiefer

Our instructors will go over all the basics to help you gain confidence in our Ceramics Studio!

In this beginner series we will go over: 

• slab rolling & forming
• coils pots
• pinch pots
• texturing
• getting started with glazing
• wedging clay
• wheel throwing basics
• trimming
• glazing basics

No previous experience necessary. Please make sure to purchase clay by the first class at the front desk before you come play with clay!

For extra studio time: students must make reservations to access and work in the studio. Students will receive rebate codes via email that can be redeemed for free studio time during the course of their class, expiring two weeks after the course ends.

Required age: 16+ on the day of the activity

Notes: Ages 14-16 are welcome to register for the class series, contact our Studio Manager with any questions.

Prerequisites: There is a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 9. Clay & toolkits are available for purchase at the CCC.
