ABOUT THE ARTIST-INSTRUCTOR
Jon Conchuratt

"I mainly work in porcelain; incorporating thrown and hand-built works together.  My work has clear elements of Japanese design and style, as I spent several years living there.  For the last several years I have been continuing to work in my studio as well as teaching ceramics courses at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg, Oregon. By altering a thrown form with a handbuild form you can come up with some unusual and interesting new aspects to pottery and art to pursue." https://www.jonconchurattstudio.com/
