This course is the perfect introduction to the timeless game of Mahjong.  In this beginner's course of American Mah Jong, learn the fundamentals of this ancient tile-based game, from understanding the tiles and basic rules to developing essential strategies. 

Our instructors will guide you through hands-on sessions, ensuring you gain confidence and skills to enjoy playing mahjong with friends and family for years to come.

This is the English version of Mahjong.

Please note:

• This course is now 3 sessions with extended classroom time
• This is not the solitary computer version that many may have played
• The tiles used are in English

Masks are not mandatory, distancing is recommended. Should any participant wish to wear a mask they are welcome to do so. Chilliwack ElderCollege and community partners will continue to follow all health protocols.
