Description:

Give your child the opportunity to learn a lifelong sport, develop hand-eye coordination, agility, and build self-confidence. Children will learn basic strokes in a fun and supportive group lesson. Bring a tennis racket and one can of new, unopened “extra duty” tennis balls. Class will be canceled on days it rains. 

Beginners: Covers forehand, backhand, service, rules and court etiquette for the beginner player. Intermediate: Focuses on ground strokes and use of spins, volley, footwork and positioning. Players should be able to rally, play out points and have some match experience.

Required age: 11 - 17 years old on the day of the activity
