We have created a brand new preschool opportunity in Galesburg! Classes are held in the mornings on Mondays and Wednesdays, with most time spent outdoors, engaging with nature with supervised unstructured play as well as structured activities. Led by experienced teachers (a retired kindergarten teacher and an experienced outdoor preschool teacher), our focus will be on social and emotional skills building, with themed topics throughout the 12 week session.

• Ages 3.5-5 years old. Child must be fully potty trained, and turning 4 by September 1, 2025.
• Classes held Monday and Wednesday mornings, outdoors at Lakeside Nature Center area (1033 S Lake Storey Road)
  • Classes start Wednesday, February 19
  • 9:00 to 11:30 am

  • School schedule will follow District 205 days off
• Students will dress for outdoor adventures, with minimal time spent indoors.  Students will be expected to wear appropriate outdoor gear, including jacket, winter coat, hat, gloves, rain coat, rain boots, snow pants and snow boots, or lightweight clothing during hot temps.
• Classes will be held during inclement weather. During severe/dangerous weather such as extreme cold temps, thunder/lightning, we will be indoors at the Nature Center or Lakeside Recreation Facility.
  • Cancellations will follow District 205 weather cancellation schedule
• 12 week session cost is $450, split into 3 installments of $150 when registering online, saving a credit card on file. (first payment due upon enrollment and subsequent payments due March 1 and April 1).
