The Work Experience (WE) Program, for ages 13-15 years, combines the fun of camping with two hours of work experience each morning in which the “WEs” participate in various outdoor projects to improve Toro Park under the supervision of their counselors. The “WEs” receive a job evaluation that may be of value when seeking future employment.

* Campers that have previously attended Camp Quien Sabe are eligible to become Camp Quien Sabe Trailblazers. Only CQS Trailblazers or campers becoming Trailblazers are eligible to attend Week 6 - CQS Homecoming Week. Each year, CQS Trailblazers celebrate the sixth week of camp with fun activities including a mid-week picnic, extra hike and a special last Thursday night.

Notes: IMPORTANT INFORMATION: CAMP QUIEN SABE PARENT DROP OFF/PICK-UP LOCATION. All campers participating, regardless of where they live, must ride to and from camp on the bus on Mondays and Fridays. Drop-offs and pick-ups at camp will not be allowed. Campers need to be brought by a family member or a guardian to the designated drop-off point in Monterey on Monday morning at 8am. CAMPERS MUST ARRIVE IN CLOSED-TOED SHOES AND LONG PANTS. Pick-up is on Friday afternoon at 3 PM at the same location. CAMPERS NEED TO BE CHECKED IN BY AN ADULT ON MONDAY AND SIGNED OUT BY AN ADULT ON FRIDAY. Please note: the camp drop off and pick up location in Monterey is now at the Ryan Ranch Disc Golf Course, which is located at 10 Park Rd. in Monterey. The Ryan Ranch Disc Golf Course parking lot is located off Canyon Del Rey Blvd (Hwy 218) and Ryan Ranch Road. Signs will direct you to the parking location. Please drive carefully and stay to the right as you drive up the hill. Due to limited restroom facilities, we highly recommend your camper use the restroom before arriving at the drop-off location. ADDED NOTE: ON FRIDAY, PLEASE DO NOT PICK UP YOUR CAMPER'S GEAR. PLEASE LEAVE THAT TASK TO YOUR CAMPER. For the safety of your child and the environment, the camper's belongings will be searched by camp staff for any illegal drugs, alcohol, fireworks, tobacco products, weapons, or food. Refund Policy: No refunds/transfers three (3) business days before the session begins for Camp Quien Sabe Youth Overnight Camp and Whispering Pines Day Camp. A 25% service charge will be applied to refunds prior to three (3) business days.
