Description:

Whispering Pines Day Camp will celebrate 67 years of providing an exciting, organized and supervised program for children. Weekly activities include hiking, singing, folk dancing, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, camp skills and nature activities. Special excursions are planned. On Fridays, participants will cook their own lunch and participate in a campfire program with songs and skits. Children bring their own lunch and drink Monday through Thursday. Snacks are provided. 

Whispering Pines Day Camp also welcomes children ages 5-12 who need special accommodations. Camperships are available for those who need financial assistance. Email: montereyrecreation@monterey.gov for questions and more information on accommodations or camperships.

Price: $198.00 - $220.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 5 - 9 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Refund Policy: No refunds/transfers three (3) business days before the session begins for Camp Quien Sabe Youth Overnight Camp and Whispering Pines Day Camp. A 25% service charge will be applied to refunds prior to three (3) business days. *Active Duty Military members receive the City of Monterey Resident Rate. If you are Active Duty and do not live in the City of Monterey, please contact Monterey Recreation at 831.646.3866 or montereyrecreation@monterey.gov to activate your discount. Discounts will not be applied retroactively.
