PLEASE NOTE: At this time no new registration is being accepted for Winter & Spring quarters due to recital dances being learned and recital costumes already ordered and out of stock.  Please join us in Summer Camps (registration opens March 3) or Fall classes (registration begins July 7).

Those not registered for Fall quarter will be able to register for Winter quarter Performing Arts programs begining Oct 14, 2024 as Fall quarter participants have priority to pre-register. If you would like to join in Fall quarter after

If you are in Fall classes but not registered for Winter please pre-register by Oct 13 to save your spot in the same day/time class.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

Dancetots Age 2:  This class explores both creative and physical expression, as well as an introduction to  creative movement and pre-ballet. Students will gain awareness of music, rhythm and movement.  Activities and games are designed to develop flexibility, coordination, self-confidence and creative thinking.  Dress/Hair code in the Welcome Packet is required for each class.  This class does not participate in recital.  Parents do not participate in class.  Dancer go barefoot in class.

Kinder 3 Ballet:  This class explores both creative and physical expression, as well as an introduction to ballet. Students will gain awareness of music, rhythm and movement.  Activities and games are designed to develop flexibility, coordination, self-confidence and creative thinking.  Dress/Hair code in the Welcome Packet is required for each class. Dancers participate in recital.

Kinder 4 & 5 Ballet/Tap:  This class explores both creative and physical expression, as well as an introduction to Ballet and Tap. Students will gain awareness of music, rhythm and movement.  Activities and games are designed to develop flexibility, coordination, self-confidence and creative thinking.  Dress/Hair code in the Welcome Packet is required for each class. Dancer participate in recital with 1 dance, in the style the class as a whole is stronger in, at the discretion of instructor.

Kinder Jazz/Hip Hop Age 5-6:  This class explores both creative and physical expression, as well as an introduction to Jazz technique with some Hip Hop style.  Students will gain awareness of music, rhythm and movement.  Activities and games are designed to develop flexibility, coordination, self-confidence and creative thinking.  Dress/Hair code in the Welcome Packet is required for each class. Dancers participate in recital.

Kinder Musical Theatre Age 5-6: This class explores both creative and physical expression, as well as an introduction to Musical Theatre and Broadway songs. Students will gain awareness of music, rhythm and movement.  Activities and games are designed to develop flexibility, coordination, self-confidence and creative thinking.  Dress/Hair code in the Welcome Packet is required for each class. Dancers participate in recital with this dance-based class.

Dancers stay with their class all year, like in the school system, even if they age up during the year.

This class participates in the Spring Recital on April 26, 2025.  In order to be in the recital we request that you are register for the entire year, Aug-May, for the full benefit of dance class.  At the very least you will be required to be registered for Winter & Spring to do recital.  Costumes are measured for and ordered by Dec 2024.  If you register for class after Jan 1, 2025 we cannot guarantee a recital costume will be available.  Please register for the Kinder Recital Costume fee by 5:00 p.m. on date due ($60 by 12/6/24, $70 by 12/20/24, $80 after 12/20/24 if costume is still available).

NO REFUNDS for recital costumes once the order has been placed, approximately the week of 12/16/24 but could be ordered earlier.

Spring Recital is April 26, 2025. Times and show division posted late Jan/Early Feb.

Notes: A Welcome Packet will be sent out with the dress code, important dates and other information each Friday after registration begins to make sure all new participants receive the information.
