Join us! FIBArk, and Salida Parks and Recreation have teamed up together to bring you this beginner kayaking course as part of FIBArk's Community Paddling Program.

Price: $80.75 - $95.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 8 - 14 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: All kayaking gear will be provided to participants! Participants will need to bring a bathing suit and water-appropriate shoes and are allowed to bring their own kayaking gear if they have it. The FIBArk kayaking program is looking for kayaks and related river gear to support more programs in the future. If you have a boat or gear lying around that you don't use anymore, please reach out to Ryan.Wiegman@cityofsalid.com and we'll accept your donation to FIBArk. Want to participate, but it costs too much? Reach out to Ryan.Wiegman@cityofsalida.com and we have a recreation scholarship available so that youth can participate.

Prerequisites: Must be able to pass the swim test at the aquatic center. (swim one length of the lap pool, unassisted, while swimming on their front.)
