The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center comprises a large 25-meter, 6-lane pool, and a smaller, warmer leisure pool. The large pool is delightful for swimming, diving, and recreational play, and the temperature is approximately 84°F/28.9°C.
The leisure pool has a zero-depth entry and a stair-entry, making it easily accessible. The depth gradually increases to four feet, and the temperature is held at 98°F/36.7°C. This pool is ideal for aqua-therapy, soaking, and young children.
The private soaking pools are European-style baths (no jets). The guests (two people max) will fill the pool to the temperature of their liking using the hot spring water (117°F/47°C) and domestic water. The pools are rented for one hour and are cleaned and disinfected after every use.
There is an ADA-compliant lift that allows for easy access into either pool. In addition, each pool features a stepped entry with handrails to ease entry further.
