Description:

Will Nye | Sailing Instructor Trainer, Community Sailing Center

The Everglades Challenge is an unsupported, expedition style adventure race for small sailboats, kayaks, and canoes. The distance is roughly 300 nautical miles over 7-8 days. It’s one of the most challenging, unique and fun races in the world. Will Nye has raced in the Everglades Challenge 7 times, and has only two cardinal rules: Bring mosquito repellant, and don’t eat beans. Hear and see how Will modified his sailboat, navigated through bogs, snakes, gators, foul weather and last year’s demasting.

Price: $0.00 Taxes waived

Notes: Our events are in-person in our Classroom, and virtually via zoom.
