Take the Next Step in Your Sailing Journey!
Cat Card Level 3C is a summer weeklong camp designed as a short-term introduction to intermediate sailing skills, seamanship, and buoy course sailing. This camp provides the perfect opportunity for young sailors to build confidence, improve their boat handling, and develop a deeper understanding of sailing techniques in a fun and structured environment.
What You’ll Learn:
Intermediate Boat Handling – Enhance tacking, gybing, sail trim, and boat balance techniques.
Seamanship & Safety – Develop personal responsibility for equipment, rigging, and de-rigging, while reinforcing essential safety skills.
Buoy Course Sailing – Introduction to sailing around marks, basic race-style drills, and understanding boat positioning.
Wind & Weather Awareness – Learn to read and respond to changing wind conditions and currents.
Sailing Independence – Work with a sailing partner to make on-the-water decisions and navigate confidently.

Next Steps:
Sailors who complete Cat Card Level 3C will have the foundation to continue their development in the Cat Card Level 3B & 3A Afterschool (afternoon) Programs, where they will build on these skills with a focus on long-term growth, teamwork, and leadership.
