Description:

This class will introduce participants to sweep rowing. This type of rowing uses one oar instead of two and is the main focus of high school rowing in the spring and fall. The class will introduce and explore the skills unique to this style of rowing. Rowers will take turns rowing and coxing, or steering the boat.

This is a 1-week program, geared to HS students who want a crash-course in sweep rowing before signing up for the development program should they wish to row competively.
