This 1-week program class will introduce participants to sweep rowing. Sweep rowers use one oar instead of two, and this class will introduce and explore the skills unique to this style of rowing. Rowers will take turns rowing and coxing - steering the boat. This class is geared to HS students who want a crash-course in sweep rowing before signing up for the development program should they wish to row competively.
