Description:

This is program is for all those go-doers who want to have some activity on their Thursday evenings! This program is for beginner players who want to get a taste of tennis! If you have played the sport and are still having troubles with proper technique and the ability to place the ball and rally this program is for you as well!

Participants will learn:
- to serve, rally and score from the first lesson;
- to play a match without the assistance of a coach;
- to rules and scoring system;
- basic techniques: grip, set-up, contact point, hitting zone, and recovery;
- basic tactics: consistency, recovery, move opponent, strength, and exploit weaknesses;
- Singles and doubles play;
- tips on likely problems, drill variations, appropriate warm-ups, and information about etiquette and tennis culture.
