Overview: The VEX GO Robotics Club is now welcoming aspiring young engineers aged 7-14! Designed as the entry point for all beginners to VEX robotics, this club ignites curiosity and fosters a love for STEM through hands-on learning. With the VEX GO robotics kit, participants will explore basic engineering principles, programming, and teamwork to build their own robots.

Objectives:

  • Introduce fundamental robotics and engineering concepts.
  • Enhance problem-solving skills and creativity with practical projects.
  • Cultivate teamwork and communication in robot building and programming.
  • Serve as the starting block for advancement to the VEX IQ program upon instructor approval.

Curriculum Highlights:

  • Basics of Robotics: Learn about robot types and their applications.
  • Engineering Principles: Discover key mechanical concepts critical to robot design.
  • Programming: Master simple block-based coding for robot control.
  • Robot Construction & Team Projects: Build robots using VEX GO kits and collaborate on team challenges, applying the engineering design process from concept to completion.
