Space Pioneers with Scratch 

Embark on fun journey to space with Scratch! Send an astronaut to the moon and defend your moon base from space rocks. Learn how to use Scratch to create and program sprites, backdrops and basic scripts. Create a new program each day, leave with evidence of your wild space adventure, and be inspired to explore the universe of programming as a Space Pioneer.

Day 1: Go to the Moon Scratch Coding

Day 2: Dancing Alien with Scratch

Day 3: Moonwalk Coding with Scratch

Day 4: Shoot for the Stars Game with Scratch

Day 5: Space Pong Game with Scratch

Notes: Afternoon Session 12:30 pm - 3:45 pm EFK Activities & Lessons w/ a 10 min break 3:45 pm - 4:00 pm Group Activity

Prerequisites: Must be entering K - 3rd grade in the fall.
