Description:

This mixed level ballet class will involve a warm up, barre exercises, and center combinations, usually set to pop music, and adaptable to the goals of the students. Students can expect to work on refining lines, improving musicality and performance quality, and growing their ability to pick up choreography. The session culminates in learning a brief piece of contemporary ballet choreography with a mini in-class performance just for us!

Required age: Over 16 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Please note: This class does not meet on 10/24 or 10/31. Students should wear clothing that they can move in easily, and should wear socks or ballet slippers for class.

Prerequisites: This class is intended for a range of advanced beginner and intermediate ballet students. Students who are newer to ballet must be comfortable with basic ballet terminology and following along with new combinations. This class is also a great fit for students with many years of previous dance experience who would like to return to ballet in a positive, fun, and non-judgmental environment. More experienced students who would like to review intermediate material (with options for more advanced versions) are also welcome to join.
