Important information

Welcome to Esh! Please read this information before signing up for classes.

***Registration opens for everyone on Sunday February 16th at 9:30pm***

Sign up here for classes which will meet at the same time each week from Monday March 3rd to Sunday April 27th.

Descriptions for all classes are available here.

Once the session begins, any open spots in classes will be made available for drop-ins. We will also post weekly Sunday Open Studio (pre-registration required) and Practice Time (similar to open studio, but with more limited spots and dedicated equipment for each person) once the session begins. You can find these options on the Make-up/Drop-in Calendar for Winter Session, which will go live on Sunday March 2nd.

*Is the class you want full? Add yourself to the wait list to be notified of openings! Looking for a certain class at a time that's not on the schedule? Something else you'd like to see us offer? Email us at info@eshcircusarts.com to let us know!

STUDIO POLICIES

  • Scheduling & general policies
    • Students who are new to circus or to a particular discipline should sign up for Level 101. (Note: Level 101 Power and Contortion 101 classes have prerequisites that students must meet in order to register). All other classes are for returning students or those with prior experience at another school or studio.
    • If you are new to Esh but not new to circus and would like to sign up for a class higher than Level 101, you must contact us at info@eshcircusarts.com prior to registering.

  • Mask policy
    • Masks are currently optional. Students registering for classes should note that no refunds will be granted due to future changes in Esh's mask policy.

  • Studio capacity & physical touch
    • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your class time or training time. Upon arrival, students should store their belongings in the lobby and then enter the main studio, rather than waiting in the lobby for class to begin.
    • Some coaches may choose to offer students hands-on spotting to assist with certain skills; other coaches may not offer spotting. As always, coaches will ask for consent before touching or spotting a student, and students may always refuse. We value our strong consent culture at Esh!

  • Missed Class Make-up Policy:
    • Before the session begins, please take a moment to review our studio policies, which include information on how to manage absenses and how to use make-up classes. Policy exceptions will not be granted for failure to read these policies in advance of the start of the session.
    • Make-up classes can be used in the following ways:
      • To attend an in-person class if space is available.
      • To attend Practice Time if space is available. The Practice Time schedule will be posted the evening before the session begins.
      • To attend Sunday Open Studio. The Open Studio schedule will be posted the evening before the session begins.
    • Due to limited studio capacity and full classes, Esh cannot guarantee that space will be available in in-person classes or in practice time for students who wish to use a make-up. These options are offered as a courtesy, but are not a guarantee.

  • Refund, Cancellation, & Injury Policy:
    • Students who wish to drop out of an entire session after they have registered, but before the first Monday of the session, will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. After the first Monday of the session, no refunds will be given.
    • Exceptions are made only for cases of sudden injury or extraordinary circumstances, and only when a student contacts Esh promptly via email to request a refund. All exceptions are at the discretion of Esh management. Refunds are not given for failure to attend or sick days.
    • Students with pre-existing injuries or limitations are encouraged to schedule a private lesson or attend a Taster Class before registering to ensure that they will be able to participate in class. Refunds will not be granted in cases where a pre-existing injury or limitation prevents a student from participating in class.
