Our PLAY Events are an amazing opportunity to Fence on PROFESSIONAL ELECTRIC SCORE BOXES & MEET NEW FENCERS in a fun-filled Recreational Activity!
PLAY Recreational Competitions are designed to offer participants tons of Fencing experience while encouraging teamwork in a participation-based environment.
All Fencers participate in the same number of matches and everyone gets a MEDAL!
The series of Recreational Competitions, will be held throughout the fencing season!
Learn to PLAY the Fencing Way!!
Age Range: 7 - 17
Event Duration: 3 - 4 hours
Location: Fencing Calgary South (Unit 12, 6325 12th St SE - Deerfoot Meadows area)
Prerequisites: COMPLETED - either the Yellow Badge or Youth Intro program
Required Equipment: Bring your own or a loaned Community Gear set. If you don’t own an Epee you can borrow one at your first event! Please email info@fencingcalgary.com to request a loaned Epee.
A Fencer with experience in the PLAY Program may register for the next age category up IN ADDITION to their current age category when available on the event registration
