Qualifying Levels
Skaters must register at the level they are qualified. Please refer to the GSC website, PROGRAMS, STAR/COMPSkate section to view the Programs and Progression Chart or speak to your Base Coach in order to confirm your proper skating level.
Skaters may NOT register at the next lower qualifying level, as noted in the Registration time lines.
All Skaters must have a valid Skate Canada / Ontario registration in order to register for Skating Programs. Click on the Memberships tab to purchase your Skate Canada / Ontario registration. This is a mandatory, non-refundable fee: Skate Canada $28 + Skate Ontario $28 + Safe Sport $5.70 = $61.70 /skater/year.
GSC Membership
GSC memberships are optional annual memberships available to all GSC Home Club and Out of Club skaters. Purchasing a membership provides priority access when registration opens and discounts on select activities. Click on the "Discount" button when available beside each session to view details. Please note this is a non-refundable fee.
Skaters may register for a session (a group of lessons at the same time each week for a full season), or a drop-in (1 lesson). See the Session Schedule for additional details.
Drop In
When a Session is not full, there are a limited number of spaces available where Skaters may register to skate on 1 session on a specific day.
Drop-in registrations will open 7-14 days after the regular registration deadline. Click on Drop-in beside the session to see the drop-in calendar. A session in the drop in calendar will change to blue when it is open for registration. Click on the plus sign (+) to register on your preferred date.
Please NOTE: Skaters MUST register before stepping on the ice!
Please NOTE: A Club Coach may restrict access to a session for safety reasons if the session is too full.
Competitive Training Ice (CTI)
