Working on hitting the ball consistently. Getting more comfortable at moving to return the ball. Your serve is more consistently landing in the correct box.

This 3.5 league is not a league for players that are new to pickleball. If you currently play in our leagues, please do not move to a higher skill level until you are consistenly winning the majority of your games. If you are not sure of your skill level, please come by the current leagues and watch the play. In the 3.5 league you should be able to hit the ball consistently in bounds, you are working on placing the ball based on pickleball strategy, be comfortable playing right behind the NVZ, and you can run/move to return the ball.

3.0 players who know the rules, can usually serve in, return serve, hit forehand, backhand and dinks.
Improve skills by aiming for specific targets with serves, serve returns, 3rd shots, drives, dinks, lobs and smashes. Understand offensive and defensive strategies. Understand team dynamics.
1-hour class, once a week, 4 weeks.
Week 1 – serving and receiving serve
Week 2 – 3rd shot drop, drives, lobs
Week 3 – dinks, smashes
Week 4 – fast attack, moving, partners
Bring your own paddle.
