This coed program is designed for youth ages 9-14 to learn the fundamentals of basketball, rules and guidelines for the sport, build teamwork and sportsmanship, and have fun! Fundamentals we will be working on are dribbling, shooting, passing, and rebounding.
Week 1: Rules, Expectations, and Dribbling
Week 2: Offense - Passing: Chest Pass, Bounce Pass, Overhead Pass
Week 3: Offense - Shooting: Jump Shots and Layups
Week 4: Defense and Rebounding - Defensive Stance, Closing out, Rebounding and Boxing out
