"Speak Your Truth: Social Media"
A free documentary film summer workshop about social media for teens
workshop for high school students.
Students in the program will have the chance to weigh in on one of the defining aspects of teen’s lives -- social media. Teens are constantly inventing amazing new ways to build communities or express themselves online. They can also be subjected to toxic and inaccurate content.

To really make your voice heard, the final film will premiere at the UVA Youth-Nex conference in October 2024, which is attended by 100 researchers, educators, counselors and others who are working on youth development, education, and mental health.
work with film professionals to learn how to make a documentary from start to finish.
