What does the future look like? Is it all things shiny and chrome? Is it more of a dystopia? Are there robots and flying cars? You get to decide in this workshop, focusing on all things science fiction.

Filmmakers will learn the stylish camera techniques, visual effects, and lighting setups that make the best sci-fi movies feel so real and work in small groups to write, direct, and edit their own futuristic epics in just five days.

Rising 7th-12th graders can work towards the Light House Achievement Award by completing programs in three different categories. This workshop counts as one Core Filmmaking credit. Visit lighthousestudio.org/achievement-award for more information.
