Join Andrew Clark, an award-winning humour columnist for The Globe and Mail and the longtime director of the Humber Polytechnic Comedy School, for this rollicking survey of the legends of comedy.

From big screen pioneers like Mel Brooks and Groucho Marx, to TV comedy icons like Monty Python and Seinfeld, to the local funny people, from SCTV onwards, that have put Toronto on the global comedy map, we’ll explore how these brilliant wits and keen-eyed social observers reshaped the comedy landscape, bringing us endless hours of laughter and delight.   

Over six lively talks, illustrated with lots of hilarious video clips, we’ll take a brief escape from the troubles of the world and delight in the joyful work of these modern comedy legends.
