Description:
The Jewish Rainbow Alliance is a safe space for parents and caregivers to come together for support and education. Our goal is to reduce isolation and stress while sharing information, including strategies for coping with our kids’ disclosures in a safe and affirming environment. We welcome you to share your own experiences and learn about other parents’ experiences, while we all support our children. This program is supported by a grant and is available at no charge, however, RSVP is required. The group will be led by Giselle, our parent peer facilitator who has expertise in LGBTQ+ issues, as well as lived experience as a parent to two LGBTQ+ kids — one who is gay and one who is transgender.
