Eaton's College Street Store
This grand former department store (now College Park) still dominates its corner site. We'll examine handsome interior elements that have been preserved. The incredible Streamlined Moderne seventh floor was abandoned for over 20 years before reopening after restoration as The Carlu.

St. Anne's Anglican Church
St. Anne's was designed in the grand Byzantine Revival style – unusual for an Anglican church. The interior was remarkable: it was the only worship space decorated by several members of the Group of Seven and other artists. The striking and colourful paintings depicted figures and scenes from the Bible. Tragically, the entire church was destroyed by fire in June 2024.

"Old" City Hall
This much‐loved structure has happily survived threats of demolition. Hear its story of birth and redemption while viewing stunning interiors (some hidden from the public). The painted murals and stained glass tell stories of Toronto, and the remarkable Victorian clock still keeps time.
