Ages 10-14

Tap 2 continues building upon skills learned in Tap 1, exploring various styles of tap dancing including Musical Theater Tap. Classes begin with a fun warm-up focusing on technique and weight shifts. This gives students the ability to refine their listening skills as well as building and strengthening their tap sounds, quality and style. At the end of each class, students will learn a combination that incorporates the lessons covered. The routine will challenge students rhythmically and musically, while giving them an opportunity to learn and expand upon their tap vocabulary.
