Whether you're a seasoned pro brushing up your audition skills or a theatre newbie wanting to work through a script, this class is for you! Through a thorough analysis of text, students will explore how to develop characters and make strong choices that are grounded in reality and rooted in the words. Class will culminate in scene performances, taking the words from the page to the stage.

Notes: Class will be taught by Michele Danna, bio below: Michele Danna is a professional actress, teacher, and director. She recently finished a two-and-a-half-year run as Lady Macbeth in the Off-Broadway hit Drunk Shakespeare, has been featured in several film and TV projects, and can be seen in multiple national commercials. Born and raised in Jersey, Michele has been a proud Hoboken resident for almost a decade. She is currently a director and an acting professor specializing in Shakespeare, and has been teaching and directing for nearly 20 years. Outside of theater, she practices yoga and can often be found running along the waterfront.
