Get ready to leap into a playing space with only one rule: "Yes, And!"

Come join us for this limited edition mini course! Students will experiment with a range of techniques and use improvised actions and dialogues to try different ways of building characters and building confidence. The class will focus on games, within which students will activate their imaginations through movement, images, intentions, and above all, listening to each other!

Recommended for ages 12-16

Notes: Class will be taught by Evie Barenberg, bio below: Evie Barenberg is a New York City bred comedian and actor. She studies and performs improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade, The Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and The Second City. She studied English and Theater at Barnard College, performed and wrote for Columbia’s LateNite Sketch Comedy troupe, and was a member of Columbia’s premiere co-ed a capella group, Nonsequitur. She loves Calicco Critters, pastries, and the musical Waitress.
