Description:
In this program for grades K-3, students will discover the magic of the sky as part of the opening session of our spring program. They’ll learn how the movement of celestial bodies influences the changing seasons, tides, and everything that comes with the arrival of spring. Through interactive activities, students will explore the Earth-Moon-Sun system, understanding how orbits work, how the Moon’s phases change, and how tides are shaped by the Moon’s gravity. Students will also explore the cultural significance of the Sun and Moon through Indigenous stories and how celestial movements affect the world around us.
