Description:
In the Spring in the Air session for grades K-3, students will explore the science of air and how it connects to the season of spring. They will learn about the birds that soar in the sky, flying bugs that appear in spring, and experiments that show how air moves and affects objects. They will identify birds they see around them, discover the importance of flying bugs, and understand how air pressure and wind work through hands-on experiments. Students will also engage in a fun hands-on activity to learn about pollinators, helping them understand the role insects like bees play in springtime. By experimenting with air, students will understand how air helps things fly and move. This fun-filled session connects science to nature and the changes spring brings.
