Join us for an exciting STEM Career Tour designed for grades K-3! Students will explore real-life science in action and learn about the important STEM jobs that help our community thrive. We'll meet professionals who use their skills to solve problems and make a difference. This program is not only a fun way to discover how science, technology, engineering, and math impact our world but also helps kids recognize their own strengths and talents, inspiring ideas about future careers they could pursue.

This program covers BC Science Curriculum including:

Big ideas:

  • Everything we learn helps us to develope skills
  • Learning is a lifelong enterprise
  • Communities include many different roles requiring many different skills

Competencies:

  • Make exploratory observations using their senses
  • Jobs in the local community
  • Recognize the importance of learning in their lifes and future careers

  • Identify and appreciate their personal attributes, skills, interests, and accomplishments
