Wee Chat is a course for parents and caregivers to discover the wonders of infant and toddler
communication development. Caregivers will learn how speech and language typically develop from
birth through 2 years of age and what strategies can support and engage your baby’s communication
development.

Babies and toddlers ages newborn – 2 years will engage in songs, stories, and play during
our time together and developmental information and strategies will be provided for the caregivers.

Jennifer Oshen is a speech-language pathologist experienced in early intervention, elementary and
middle school settings, with a particular interest in culturally and linguistically diverse populations. In
her practice, she is oriented to the strengths and interests of her students. When collaborating with
families, she builds upon what parents are already doing to support their child’s development and
incorporates enriching strategies that fit into their daily routines. She is the parent of three bilingual children.

Note: If this free intro session fills, please add yourself to the waitlist. We want to know the level of interest and the age range of the children to determine if we should add a second class.

Required age: Under 2 years old on the day of the activity
