Imaginations wanted! Through various acting exercices, scene studies and fun improv games, students learn the tools to think on their feet, listen and respond with wit, and be creative in the moment. Kids practice being spontaneous, collaborative and often hilarious!  

We'll build our confidence, learn to trust our instincts, develop independent thinking, decision-making and effective communication... all while make new friends along the way. We look to bring out the character in YOU! 

Teaching artist Ms. Val McAdoo is an actor, producer, writer, and director. Val has appeared in numerous award-winning features, commercials, shorts and TV series. She founded The Actor’s Co-op (Swarthmore, PA) and lives with her husand and two daughters in Wallingford.

Required age: 5 - 9 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Our After-School program is listed from 4-5:30pm, allowing all students to arrive on foot, by bus or drop off to make it in advance of instruction time between 4:30-5:30pm. Drop off students may arrive anytime after 4pm. WSSD can Bus to Us! SRS students may join our escorted walking bus and students from NPE & WES can bus over. Our adult and teen staff supervises students after school for snack, homework, games outside play time and to relax before classes begin promptly at 4:30pm.
