Youth Ceramics Class (Ages 8–11)

Welcome to our Youth Ceramics Class - a monthly creative hangout where young artists can get their hands dirty and explore the world of clay. Held on the first Sunday of every month, this class introduces students to the basics of wheel throwing and hand-building in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate studio environment.

This class is perfect for all experience levels, whether it’s your very first time touching clay or you’ve already made a few pieces before. Our experienced instructors guide students step-by-step through the process, helping them build foundational skills, confidence, and creativity at their own pace.

On the wheel, students will learn how to shape clay into small, beginner-friendly projects like cups, bowls, tiny planters, and simple vases. Hand-building projects may include pinch pots, animal or character sculptures, and small decorative pieces.

Join us for a relaxed, creative morning where a lump of clay turns into something uniquely yours — and where students leave with new skills, big ideas, and something handmade to be proud of.

Required age: 7 - 12 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: We have water fountains available on site and free parking in the lot behind the studio. We recommend wearing something you do not mind getting a little messy, though aprons are available for all students.
