✨ Teen Clay Intensive ✨
A hands‑on week of pottery, creativity, and skill‑building!

This immersive, week‑long teen clay intensive is perfect for young artists who want to dive deeper into ceramics and really get their hands dirty. Over five afternoons, students will explore multiple clay techniques while building confidence on the wheel and beyond.

Throughout the week, students will:

🏺 Learn pottery wheel basics — centering, pulling walls, and shaping functional forms.
🧱 Explore handbuilding techniques — slab and coil construction for creative and sculptural pieces.
🎨 Glaze and finish their work — learning how to decorate and complete pieces for final firing.
🔥 Understand the full clay process — from wet clay to finished, fired ceramics.

This intensive is designed to give teens focused studio time, guided instruction, and plenty of room to experiment and grow. By the end of the week, students will have multiple finished pieces and a stronger foundation in ceramic techniques.

Cost: $300 total
Includes all clay, materials, glazing, kiln firing, and tools — no extra fees.

Notes: We have water fountains available on site and free parking in the lot behind the studio. We recommend wearing something you do not mind getting a little messy, though aprons are available for all students.
