4-Week Landscape Painting Series with Erin Gillespie
(No class the week of Christmas)

In this new and widely requested 4-week series, students will explore the art of landscape painting through a variety of guided exercises and demonstrations led by local artist Erin Gillespie. Each session focuses on building essential painting skills and developing confidence with brushwork, color mixing, and composition.

Over the course of the class, students will learn to paint a range of landscape elements such as clouds, skies, trees, water, and atmospheric effects. Erin will guide students in choosing the right brushes, layering paints effectively, and using color and texture to create depth and emotion in their work.

This class is open to all experience levels—from beginners looking to learn new techniques to more seasoned artists hoping to refine their approach to landscapes. By the end of the series, students will have completed several small studies and one finished landscape painting to take home.
