Join the production of DISNEY’S DARE TO DREAM JR. with Backyard Playhouse. Campers will learn songs and dances to perform alongside the soloists and featured performers in front of a live audience at the beautiful Scherr forum in Thousand Oaks. Oak Park campers will join Simi Valley campers in the ensemble of this 60-minute musical revue for young performers that celebrates 100 years of Disney music and imagination. The show features trainees at a Walt Disney Imagineering Studio learning to harness the power of their dreams through songs from films like Encanto, Frozen II, Coco, and The Princess and the Frog. Bring a snack and water each day. 6/26 9:00-3:00 (rehearsal at the Scherr Forum), 6/27 (two performance day at the Scherr Forum, roughly 12:00p - 8:00pm with dinner break)
